“We had Straight No Chaser perform for our wedding during the reception drinks and they were a real hit. The background music gave a real sense of class to the reception. Sadly, being the bride I just didn't get a chance to sit down and enjoy them but my husband said he made sure he did and said they were fantastic. We had so many compliments from guests. I communicated with Dean on the lead-up to the wedding and communication was great. They even asked us what we wanted them to wear, ie tux, more casual, suit etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for your event. ”

“We absolutely loved Straight No Chaser and so did our guests. They were the icing on the cake! They played at our guests arrival and drinks reception and created such an awesome atmosphere. Lots of our guests commented how good they were and created a lovely ambiance. Professional and polite throughout, we would very much recommend them. Communication before hand was brilliant and Dean and Andy ensured they knew what we wanted and we had all the information we needed from them too. Really nice guys and awesome music.”

The trio of saxophone, guitar and double bass played at the small afternoon reception, and the early stages of the larger evening reception. The music they played was perfect background music for both occasions. Even the wedding guests who weren’t that keen on jazz were appreciating the excellent musicianship. They also played our requests and I would definitely book them again.”

“Perfect Jazz on a summer's evening, they arrived on time and set up without fuss, played fantastic music all evening and allowed our wedding guests to relax gently and soak up the atmosphere. I had lots of people comment on how nice the jazz was and how well pitched the music was to the event - having not really given Rick any information about the evening other than it was a garden wedding reception. I think they chose their pieces perfectly and we were really happy with the results. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for a Jazz duo, especially if you're like us and can sometimes find live music gets in the way of conversations - Straight No Chaser were able to give our guests the option to sit and listen (which many did) or carry on their chatter - ideal for our wedding!”
